Kamasutra 2 will come in 4D with Hollywood actress

Director Rupesh Paul, who is currently busy with his debut film ‘Kamasutra 3D’, will make a 4D sequel that will star a Hollywood actress.Paul told IANS: “As per the script, the film will conclude in such a way that it will leave a germ for the sequel. It has a very strong subject and scope for a sequel.

Paul, who is making ‘Kamasutra 3D’ with Sherlyn Chopra in the lead, has no plans to repeat her in the sequel. We will cast an Hollywood actress in the sequel as it will help us to get a bigger market in North America and other countries as well. I will be make the sequel in 4D, which will be altogether a different experience,” he said.

A 3D movie augments the illusion of depth perception, while 4D technology allows viewers to smell things, feel the sensation etc.

Minissha doesn’t want to be left behind

After staying away from the genre, Minnisha is finally gearing up for her first action film

As far as the action genre is concerned, Bollywood actors try their best to mesmerise the audiences with chiselled bodies and stunts. With the ongoing trend in vogue, Minissha Lamba apparently doesn’t want to be left behind as she too is all gearing up to showcase her skills in Sanjay Sharma’s upcoming high-octane film.

Minissha was last seen in Zila Ghaziabad where she had a relatively minor role. However, the petite actress who is mostly known for playing romantic characters is preparing for her debut action flick. She is all set to transform herself into a rough-and-tough intelligence bureau officer – something she hasn’t played before.

The actress has been busy rehearsing and had been religiously practicing martial arts, flips and kick-boxing to get into the character. Though this particular role came after a rather long wait, she is happy to be sweating it out for.

`Some roles are physically demanding. This is definitely one of them. So I can tell you that it isn’t a cakewalk for me! But it’s totally worth the hardship and the time I’m investing in it to get my graph of the character right, ` says Mini.

When Big B washed Kareena feet

Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently shooting for Prakash Jha’s “Satyagraha”, has been avidly writing about the shoot of the film on his blog. 

In one such post, he remembers Kareena Kapoor, who plays a journalist in the film, as a small little girl whose feet he washed on the sets of his film “Pukar” that also starred Kareena’s dad Randhir Kapoor.

“During an action sequence, I was hitting her father. She in her innocence had run on to the set in the outdoors and clung to her father to protect him from this ‘evil’ man who was beating him up. In tears and most worried, she was relentless and very disturbed, ” wrote Big B.

“She soiled her pretty little feet in the sand and in order to settle her down I had asked for some water and washed her tiny feet clean. She still remembers that moment!!”

“Satyagraha” is slated to release in August this year. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee.

Farhan refers his trainer to Priyanka for her eight pack abs

 

Farhan Akhtar has referred his trainer Samir Jaura to help Priyanka Chopra prepare for her Mary Kom biopic 

Juara has been a trainer for many years and has done his studies from the International Sports Science Association. 

Confirms Priyanka, `I’m working out with Samir for Mary Kom. It was Farhan who referred his name to me. He has worked with him during Rock On!! and for Milkha Singh bippic.`

A source adds, `Priyanka will be shown as a mother of two just like Mary Kom. So for those portions she will have to put on weight and then lose weight for her boxing matches.`

The source adds, `Given PC’s crazy schedules, she has been working out with him even in the middle of the night. They train everyday for a minimum of one hour.` 

To get the abs that PC wants, the trainer has put her on a high protein and low carb diet which includes more of non-veg food and less of rice and eating every two hours plus protein shakes. The actress will also be heading to the US for her boxing training.

A fasting Mahie Gill gave 16 interviews without a break

On Tuesday, Mahie Gill gave 16 interviews from 11 am to 8 pm apart from appearing in a TV chat show

The actress was fasting and had only one glass of juice throughout the day.

Says a source, `Mahie is an ardent believer of Hanuman and Ganpati. She fasts every Tuesday. She left her house at 10 am and did media interactions till 9 pm. She broke her fast only when she reached home.`

According to a source present at the venue, `Mahie did not appear tired at all. The actress did not take a minute’s break and gave interviews non-stop. At 8 pm she had to even did a change of costume for the chat show.`

Ouch! Huma’s loss is Jacqueline’s gain

Huma Qureshi was the first choice for the item number in Prabhu Deva’s film ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ which has been done by Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez may have shaken her booty for an item number in Kumar Taurani’s upcoming film directed by Prabhu Deva. 

But the actress was not the original choice to get jiggy for the track in the film which is the launchpad of the producer’s son Girish Taurani. The makers had first approached Huma Qureshi for the item number.

Says a source, `Huma unfortunately had to back out because of date issues. She’s busy with the promotions of her upcoming film directed by Kanan Iyer and the look tests for her next film, Dedh Ishqiya. She had to say a no with a very heavy heart.` 

Adds the source, `Huma is a huge fan of Prabhu Deva since she was a young girl. She loves dancing and doing a number choreographed by him with him would have been like a dream come true!`

As the shoot was to be held outside Mumbai, there was apparently no way Huma could take some days off and travel for the shoot.

Tamannah Bhatia will feature with Akshay Kumar in writer duo Sajid-Farhad’s directorial debut

South actress Tamannah will be seen with Ajay Devgn in Sajid Khan’s film Himmatwala. But even before her film releases next month, she has landed another project opposite Akshay Kumar being produced by Ramesh Taurani. 

The writer duo Sajid and Farhad will direct the film which will roll by the year-end.

A source says, `Tamannah is working with Akshay’s close friend Sajid Khan and the promos of Himmatwala are already on air. After seeing the promos, Taurani and Akshay decided to cast her in the lead role

The source further adds, `Akshay has given a go ahead to their script which is a mass entertainer.` 

Sajid and Farhad have penned films like Golmaal, Singham, Double Dhamaal and Houseful 2 and Bol Bachchan among others.
